Most counseling credentials are not run by the state government of which you reside. Only a few places license their counselors and exams are direct by state. Coaching and Intervention has no state or federal regulations and no state or federal licensing bodies. At this point, each educational institution has been designated to offer their own certifications and credentialing process. We have aligned and chosen some of the best non-partial credentialing offices to review our manuals, exams and process and we are pleased to offer continuing education units. We are an International school, as we believe you should not be confined to work in one state and you will need to travel globally. Our certifications and certifying bodies prepare you for global not local work.
Our credentialing bodies are below:
American Association Christian Therapists (AACT): approved The Addictions Academy as a secondary learning Institution. We are proud to offer CE Units for all CT’s globally. We are approved to offer college credit units for Associates, Bachelors and Master Degrees on select CT programs, in conjunction with other secondary learning institutions.
International Association of Addiction Professionals IAAP: approved all courses and manuals in accordance with their selections of credentialing. We are proud to offer continuing education units on select courses.
International Coaching Network (ICN): has approved all coaching courses on an International level for new and continuing coach Credit Hours.
Florida Certification Board (FCB) has approved select instructors and our Addiction Counseling hours for both the CAP (Certificated Addictions Professional), CAC (Certified Addictions Counselor) and MCAP (Master level CAP).
Florida Department of Health includes: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). The state of Florida has approved our continuing education hours for LMFT, LMHC and LCSW holding licenses that require yearly renewal. Most of these hours are transferrable to other states, please check with your original licensing body.
NAADAC has improved all of our manuals and hard copy materials for use in classes as of 2013.
