Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and Neonatal Alcohol Syndrome (NAS)

The Addictions Academy’s ACE/NAS training class will cover everything you need to know about adverse child experiences that manifest as trauma in adulthood, along with fetal alcohol syndrome. Included in this 2 hour courses is how the brain develops emotionally and mentally, stress and trauma in adulthood relationships, childhood development with drugs and alcohol, and the trauma informed approach of care.  How ACE/NAS affects the brain emotionally, behavioral issues that arise from the issues and emotional problems tied to adulthood.  

NOTE: There are NO prerequisites to this course. It can be taken by anyone and includes 2 continuing education credits (CEU, CME and CE) on your certificate.  This class is delivered in self-study online format and goes at your own pace.
