Certified Recovery Coach Supervisor

PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY COACH SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM

There are a lot of people getting certified as recovery coaches lately and being forced to work under counselors and therapists, that do not understand recovery coaching models, goals or structure. This makes it very difficult for certified recovery coaches to ask questions, get adequate supervision and provide the best possible care to their clients without the correct infrastructure in their companies. Adding a Certified Recovery Coach Supervisor credential to your resume will open up job opportunities and allow you to position yourself in the addiction industry as a leader in Recovery Coaching. This will give your company and clients the assurance they need to know you have the best training on the market.

You can also go into private practice and hire other certified recovery coaches to provide services to clientele. Now is the time to position yourself above the rest of your peers, as people scramble to become Certified Recovery Coaches, the management potential is endless.

A recovery coach works in a different number of ways. First and foremost, a recovery coach is paired with their client by using similarities in their belief system for recovery treatment. Some recovery coaches may be 12 step-based and some may be based on the belief of harm reduction and every method in between. A recovery coach also is paired with a client based on their strengths, hobbies, and also their social abilities.

This course is designed for you if you are already a Certified Professional Recovery Coach or a Certified Peer Recovery Coach. This course will teach you managerial skills, conflict resolution, the hiring and firing process, the legal side of the business, and more. It will not teach you how to be a coach or the 11 core competencies of coaching by the ICF, you should already know that material. If you are not a certified recovery coach, we can train you in levels I and II to be a professional recovery coach or a peer recovery coach.

There are no state exams or federal exams, as there is currently no designation as a Recovery Coach Supervisor and we are the first company to offer the credential and training.

NOTE: There are required prerequisites to this course. You need to be a Certified Recovery Coach. You can be certified through The Addictions Academy, CCAR Recovery Academy, IAPRC, We do offer Job Board, Networking, and Business/Private Practice assistance. We also hire from within once you are trained, certified, insured, and bonded.

Frequently Asked Questions About Recovery Coaching

The pay scale for recovery coaching is extremely broad. Recovery coaches make between $125 and $375 an hour. It is extremely hard to dictate exactly what a recovery coach makes but companies that we are familiar with also bill by the job. For example, it is not uncommon for a client to pay $15000 for six weeks worth of in-home coaching or $10000 for 60 days of coaching that consists of three days a week and five hours a session. Peer recovery coaches may make $25 to $75 per hour and work more in a crisis setting and on-demand, especially in a hospital to transport to a treatment center in crisis.

Recovery Coaches can obtain jobs at treatment centers, private practice, advocacy boards, and more. Recovery Coaches are in high demand. At our recovery coach academy, we offer you the opportunity to place your name in an addiction and recovery directory job board for clients to find a recovery coach, a job board online, and two great networking groups. We also have a mentorship mastermind group if you are going into private practice and want to learn how to set up a company, create an addiction recovery brand and how to market yourself for a full book of clients.

Private clients looking for an alternative to aftercare or a solid life solution that offers accountability and real-time life skills, coping skills, and more. Treatment Centers hire recovery coaches, peer centers, advocacy boards, and even shelters, sober livings and social work centers hire certified addiction recovery coaches.
