Anger and Rage…the new addiction? Everyone is addicted to something. Sex, drugs, caffeine, coffee. How about the chemical that your brain secretes when you get angry? That becomes quite a rush, when the chemicals are released. The need to increase the rush is heightened by more aggression, leading to rage and violence. If someone was being annoyed by something, like a cell phone in a movie, moving their seat would end the issue or negative stimulus causing the problem, but shooting someone increases the addictive chemical and warms the body, leaving the shooter with a heightened sense of well-being. With police there is an added element. Can you guess what it is?
