Jameel McCline is the founder of Envida Recovery Solutions with a former career as a professional heavyweight boxer retiring in 2012. He ran for Congressional office in 2014. He has been a product spokesperson for Everlast, Retrofox Clothing and Outkast. He has come from both sides of boxing having both competed and commentated ringside on HBO, ESPN, ESPN PPV, Showtime and EPIX. McCline’s integration into sports commentating is done locally, nationally and internationally throughout his career.
McCline merged into the addiction industry in 2007 when he became Wellness Director at Seaside Palm Beach in FL. He personalized diet and fitness plans, and implemented a lifelong course that can be applied towards physical, mental and spiritual progress. McCline pursued his drive for business ventures as he started New Day Consulting which secured capital for growth stage technology and entertainment companies.
His clients include North Carolina Music Factory, Island Resources Sanitation Company and Q-Tracks.
McCline is a veteran of more than 50 heavyweight professional bouts, starting at the age of 24, having had no amateur career. McCline was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2002 and in the same year named Professional Boxer of the Year. McCline won the World Boxing Council’s (WBC) Continental American and North American Boxing Organization’s (NABO) heavyweight titles in 2006. McCline fought globally, retiring at age 42. He currently owns Big Time Boxing and Fitness in Boca Raton, FL. McCline offers world class training to not only pros but young amateurs, kids and soccer moms.
McCline has hosted a varied collection of public speaking engagements. He has addressed foster care children and “Aging Out Of the System”, whereby he draws from his personal experience in foster care starting at the age of 7. McCline speaks in Addiction Symposiums about finding “Your Will” and Palm Beach County Public Schools presenting on “Professional Sports, Wellness and Inspiration.”
His current company Envida Recovery Solutions offers Business Development and Intervention Services in the Drug and Alcohol Industry. Envida Intervention Division educates patients and their families on the intervention process, facility placement and continuing sober companionship. Envida Business Development Division works with treatment facilities to expand referral opportunities via a structured training salesforce program.
